Glenalbyn Pool is the home of Glenalbyn Swimming Club which is a swimming club for children from 7 years upwards.

Glenalbyn Masters Swimming Club
Glenalbyn Masters is linked to the wider Kilmacud Glenalbyn Sports Club which has a number of components including Kilmacud Crokes GAA Club, Glenalbyn Tennis Club, Glenalbyn Water Polo Club and Glenalbyn Swimming Club (for younger swimmers). The Club currently has about 170 members of all ages and is affiliated to Swim Ireland.

There are two training sessions a week at the pool for members only - Tuesday Morning at 7.00 and Sunday Morning at 8.00. Many members just train for the benefits of keeping fit and for the social aspects but many others are more competitive, in both open sea swimming and galas.
